HI!
I’m Ashley and I’m the face behind the art you see here! I’m a freshman in college with a passion for design.
A bit about me: I love Jesus, food, satirical articles, conspiracy theories, wide leg pants, chacos, the outdoors, all kinds of music, big cities, friends, food, and making people laugh. I’m fascinated with history and the art of storytelling— and how many forms that can take: songs, literature, art, theater, film, dance, fashion, etc. I’m inspired by my life, the past, flowers, and foods. My dream is to tell stories through what I draw.
A bit about AGD: About three years ago, in high school, I realized God had given me talent and passion in both music and art. After that, I traveled to attend competitions, parades, and trips for marching band. I also attended competitions and festivals for A capella and vocal music. In order to raise money for those trips, I started selling my designs and letters. I was fortunate enough to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and at the beginning of 2020, I marched in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena. From 2019-2021, 100% of the proceeds from my designs went to those trips.
It’s 2022! I’m attending Milligan University, double majoring in interactive media and church leadership. I love learning more about the creative profession. As I’ve entered college, my profits are split between savings(college ain’t cheap) and paying to continue creating.
Thank you for being here. Let’s tell your story.
